This holistic approach considers your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and even your physical and spiritual well-being..

My fees are £60 per session (50 minutes) and are paid in advance upon initial booking. After initial consultation, a direct debit will be set up for your therapy fees or can be paid on the day via bank transfer or through card.

  • Do I accept private health insurance?

At the moment, I am unable to accept private health cover however, I am hopeful this will change in the future.

  • Why is the session 50 minutes?

50 minutes is known as the ‘therapeutic hour’ and is the industry standard for therapy. This allows the therapist to have their session with the client as well as write notes for their own records.

  • Is therapy confidential?

Therapy sessions are typically confidential, meaning what you discuss with your therapist remains private. However, there are exceptions, such as when there's a risk of harm to yourself or others, legal requirements like reporting child abuse, or court orders. It's crucial to discuss the limits of confidentiality with any therapist at the start of treatment.

  • How do I book a session?

Please use the book your initial session through the booking page.

  • I’ve booked a session, what happens now?

After you book your first session, I'll email you a few things. You'll get a form to fill out with some basic info, a document that explains the therapy process, health questionnaire and emergency contact. You'll also get a personalised Zoom link, even if you're coming to see me in person. This link will be handy if you ever need to have a session online instead.

  • How many sessions will I need?

The number of therapy sessions needed varies greatly depending on several factors. These include the specific issues you're addressing and their severity, your personal goals for therapy (whether it's short-term relief or long-term growth), your level of engagement in the process, and the specific therapeutic approach being used. Normally we commit to 8 sessions with a review after 6 weeks to see where we are. After 8-10 weeks, clients can begin to experience change at varying levels.

  • How often should I attend?

To begin, we'll schedule weekly sessions. This consistent rhythm can itself be a valuable part of the therapeutic process, even if you feel you have little to discuss. After 8 weeks, we can reassess and adjust the frequency of sessions based on your needs and progress.

  • What happens in the first therapy session?

The first therapy session involves gathering information about your concerns, exploring your needs and goals, and discussing potential treatment approaches. This session allows us both to determine if we’re a good fit to work together and if therapy is the right course of action for you.

  • What are your cancellation policies?

My cancellation policy is 48 hours notice give or the full session fee is required. If you cannot make your session in person, an online session is an alternative solution. I account for one free cancellation per 12 week period.  Missed sessions without any contact are charged the full session fee. Late sessions past the 10 minute window are charged the full session fee.
